Welcome to my blog

I would like to welcome you to my blog.  After years of working in the tech world, I am not exactly thrilled with what has happened with social media.  The idea that anyone can actually communicate in a serious manner with just 140 characters is insane.  In response to this, I have decided that I will share my thoughts with those interested enough to find this page, and avoid Facebook as much as possible.  I am going to use this platform to share stories (both old and new), post photos from my travels, and express some of my opinions in a format that is not so reactionary.  I hope you enjoy what I have to share, and I hope that you will continue to check back periodically and provide me with any feedback.  I intend to be thoughtful and civil and I expect the same.

The stories and open letters that I intend to post will hopefully turn into something that I have been thinking about for a long time, which is somewhat akin to my memoirs.

PS – My screen name LikkleHero is an homage to one of my favorite reggae artists, so don’t read too much into it.

  1. Looking forward to your thoughts here, my friend. Good luck and go forth boldly with the book. And not to be remiss, I look forward to getting together in person at some point to catch up after far too many years apart.

    • Absolutely, I would love to see you again. I literally just got back in contact with Dave a couple years ago, for the absurd reason that his entry in the phone book was incorrect for about a decade. I can’t say that I get down to TN very often, but by all means we should get together if you get a chance to visit Mpls.
